
Hosting Ballard Tuesday afternoon, the Pella Christian bowling teams were swept at Statesmen Lanes in Oskaloosa. The Eagle boys fell to the Bombers 2629-2051, while the girls squad lost to Ballard 1732-1523. Logan Nunnikhoven led the charge for the Pella Christian boys on the day, bowling a 305, followed by Nathan Brouwer with a 282 and Alex Van Gorp with a 271. The Eagle girls were led in the loss by Bella Pu with a 264, while Macy Van Der Hart recorded a 243 and Hope Spencer had a 210. The Pella Christian bowling teams fell to 0-2 on the season, and will look to pick up their first win of the winter at Keokuk County Bowl against Sigourney on Saturday.
