Both Knoxville Wrestling Squads are on the mat tonight. The boys will open the season at Nevada with a younger and less experienced group this year. The Panthers are looking to fill holes left to graduating seniors last season. The girls are also on the road to West Central Valley for a quad. The Panthers have been off for the last week and a half and are looking to get back on the mat. Andie Branson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports she wants to be more aggressive.
Branson: “My goal for this season is to have a winning record, and be offensive, like get my shot, set up while I’m on my feet, things like that.”
Knoxville will be joined by West Central Valley, Colfax-Mingo, and Wayne. Both meets are set to start at 5:30.
