The City of Indianola Public Works Department is ready for the cold and snow of winter. Public Works Director Akhilesh Pal tells KNIA News staff has been prepping for snow plow operations since earlier in the fall, and are well stocked on equipment and sand needed for the winter months. Pal also said he asks for caution and patience when the snow falls, as there are approximately 150 miles of road in the city that needs to be plowed, and he hopes everyone can follow the snow ordinance policies to make sure plowing operations go as smoothly as possible.
