The Knoxville Public Library will hold a reception for artist Brad Bates on Thursday.

The event will start at 6:00 pm and is a chance for the community to visit with the artist who currently has his work on display at the library. Knoxville Public Library Director Roslin Thompson says Bates specializes in arrowheads.

“If you stop by the library and look at the display cases that we have, it is really fantastic, and we have gotten really wonderful comments about his work. He grew up hunting with his dad and he has an interest in arrowhead hunting.”

This event is free and open to the public.
