The Pleasantville girls and boys basketball teams will travel to Madrid tonight for a West Central Conference varsity doubleheader and the boys wrestling team will compete at a quad hosted by PCM.

The girls basketball team is 3-1 on the season and coming off a 65-56 win over Earlham Friday night while the boys team is 1-1 after falling to Earlham 66-55 Friday. The Madrid boys are 3-0 on the season while the girls team is 2-2. The Trojan girls have been led in scoring this year by senior Joelle Johnson who is averaging 18 points per game while the boys are led in scoring by sophomore Braylon Bingham who is averaging 31. Tonight’s girls game at Madrid will start at 6:30 pm with the boys game to follow.

The boys wrestling team will compete at a quad hosted by PCM which will feature PCM, Pella, and Sigourney-Keota. The Trojans are coming off a second place finish at the Coach Riley Invitational hosted by Nodaway Valley on Saturday. Tonight’s quad starts at 5:30 pm.
