Indianola Middle School girls track and field coach Michelle Lester was honored by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches at their conference last weekend, being named the Middle School Girls Coach of the Year.

The Junior High Coach of the Year Award is voted upon as an “at-large” award by the IATC, and one award is given in Cross Country and Track & Field. Coaches are nominated through the Coach of the Year nomination form and by nominations presented at the IATC meeting following the completed season.
