The Pella Rolscreen Foundation has awarded a $20,000 grant to the Friends of Mahaska County Conservation to help fund their all-inclusive nature playscape and community area.

The grant will allow the Friends and Mahaska County Conservation Board to build a Nature Playscape that will provide local and surrounding communities with an imaginative outdoor experience. The playscape will include natural climbing features, a mammoth play sculpture, a log traverse, staggered trails and various other outdoor adventures. Groundbreaking is planned for April 2025.

As a community partner, the Pella Rolscreen Foundation provides grants, invests in youth and education, and undertakes service projects to help progressively shape the communities in which Pella Corporation team members live and work.
