Simpson linebacker CJ Hangartner and freshman wide receiver Noah Cracraft were both named to the D3football.com All-Region Third Team earlier this week. Hangartner was dominant on defense, recording 57 tackles, six sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles. Cracraft becomes the first rookie in Simpson football history to earn all-region status, registering over 1,000 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns in his first season.

The Storm finished the season with a 5-5 overall record and a 4-4 mark in conference play, their best performance since 2019. Simpson also celebrated an undefeated season at Bill Buxton Stadium, securing victories against Crown, Loras, Nebraska Wesleyan, Buena Vista, and Luther.
