The Knoxville Girls Wrestling Squad will host its first ever meet on Monday as the Panthers will welcome Cardinal, Chariton East Union, North Mahaska and Oskaloosa. The Panthers have made the most of the season winning its first dual a few weeks ago and placing individuals are most of the meets they have been in. Coach Doug Hatch knows it will be a little more nerve wracking to wrestle in front of the home fans, but it is a meet the girls are looking forward to.

Hatch: “We can’t wait for that. I think they’re all excited and maybe a little bit nervous for it, but it’ll be great.”

Monday’s meet is set to begin at 5:00.
