Cam Henderson dropped a career-high in both points and assists in Simpson’s 95-89 victory over Bethany Lutheran, leading to him being named the American Rivers Conference men’s basketball player of the week.
The freshman from Madison, Wisconsin played a complete all-around game on Sunday afternoon, scoring a career-high in points with 26, along with a career-high in assists with nine. The guard racked up four rebounds, and was nearly perfect at the free throw line, going 12-for-13. Henderson shot 7-for-13 from the field, while collecting two steals.
Henderson led the Storm to a 95-89 victory over Bethany Lutheran on Sunday afternoon, the second victory of the year for Simpson. Simpson returns home to face Cornell on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 6:00 p.m.
