In their last game of the 2024 calendar year, the Central College women’s basketball team secured a 58-40 victory over North Central University (Minn.).

The Dutch held North Central to just 26% shooting from the field and 12.5% shooting from behind the three-point line, while also collecting 12 steals, four blocks, and forcing 18 turnovers. Offensively, Central shot 40.7% from the field and 31.8% from three, while never trailing in the game. Abby Johnson and Kaitlyn Mumm led the team with nine points, while Hannah Dau and Gabby Moore each scored eight points and made two three-pointers. Emily Naughton scored six points while also leading the team with five assists. Jasmyn Williams added four points, while also having three rebounds, two assists and two steals, and CeCe Moore contributed five points, seven rebounds, two assists, a steal, and three blocks in the win. 

The Dutch return to the court in 2025, traveling to Millikin University (Ill.) on January 1st at 3 p.m.
