The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its Academic All-District teams Tuesday and four Central College volleyball players were recognized.
Avery Rexroat was a repeat selection from 2023, while Makayla Ribble, Gracie Pierson and Kaitlyn Mumm were all picked for the first time. Mumm has also advanced to the Academic All-American voting process, and those selections will be announced on January 14th. Rexroat, a biology major, maintains a 3.91 GPA and led the team this season with 503 assists. Ribble, an elementary education major, has a 3.69 GPA and had 500 set assists this fall. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must play in 90% of a team’s contests at the varsity level or start in 66% of the games while achieving a 3.50 or better cumulative grade point average (4.00 scale). Each institution can nominate a limited number of players.
