The Pella boys wrestling team fell narrowly to Oskaloosa in a dual meet on Thursday, with the final score favoring the Indians 38-32.

In a match where all were contested save for a double forfeit at 106 pounds, the Dutch were just a victory away from taking the dual.

Pella’s wins came from Carter Schroeder at 113, Xavier Tobin at 120, Dax Putz at 132, Davion Lampkin at 157, Hunter Smith at 175, and Logan Bruxvoort at 190.

The Dutch will finish the 2024 calendar at the Bill Van Horn Invitational this Saturday at Pella High School.
