The Pleasantville girls wrestling team finished with three girls on the podium at the West Central Conference Tournament hosted by Woodward-Granger Thursday night.

Mya Pearson placed third at 125 pounds, Addie Koenig placed second at 145 pounds and Amelia Latch placed third at 155 pounds. Pearson and Latch won three matches at the tournament while Koenig won two. Pearson won her third place match by pinfall, Koenig won her semifinals match by pinfall, and Latch won her third place match by a major decision. The Trojans just had three varsity wrestlers compete but finished seventh with 47 team points. The Pleasantville girls wrestling team will be back in action on January 3rd at Eddyville. The Pleasantville girls and boys basketball teams will compete tonight at Des Moines Christian.
