For the second year in a row, Central College women’s soccer forward Grace Coates was picked for the United Soccer Coaches Division III Scholar All-North/Central Region.

Coates is a third team selection this year after being on the second team a year ago. She’s the only Dutch player to earn the accolade twice, while four other players have been honored in program history. In order to be eligible, a student-athlete must have a 3.40 or better cumulative GPA, play in at least 75 percent of all games and be an elite player as supported by playing honors. Coates is majoring in kinesiology and holds a 3.74 GPA, and led the Dutch with seven goals scored and added four assists. The senior was also a third team choice for the United Soccer Coaches All-Region IV team and a first team American Rivers All-Conference team pick for the third year in a row.

The Dutch finished 11-7-2 overall, and 3-3-2 in the American Rivers Conference.
