The Pella Girls Wrestling team wrapped up its 2024 portion of the calendar with a 15th place finish out of 27 teams at the Bubba Randles Winter Classic in Cedar Rapids on Saturday.

Head Coach Adam Hale called the invitational a strong challenge before heading into the break.

“This tournament is always the first big test for us as a team and gets us a really good taste of some high-level competition. I think this tournament flies under the radar a bit with how tough it can be. While our finish as a team was 15th out of 27 which is down from our 10th place finish last year, we actually ended up with more place-winners this season compared to last.”
