Four local high school football alumni were part of a national championship victory this past weekend. Four area graduates are on the roster for Grand View University, who just won the NAIA title. That includes:

Kenson Fuller, Pella
Kade Mullens, Norwalk native, Martensdale St. Mary’s
Matthew Kauffman, Pleasantville
Joel Greiner, PCM

Former Pella All-State football player and Drake Relays champion Kody Huisman is playing for a national title for North Dakota State and the NCAA Division I FCS title on Monday, January 6th against Montana State. Huisman was featured on KNIA/KRLS this past fall season in a check-in on his life after Pella High School. Kody has 34 total tackles and 7.5 for loss as the starting nose tackle for the Bison.
