The City of Newton is looking to sell the final available lot on the west side of the Foundation Hills Estates subdivision. Eight homes have already been built on that side of the twenty lot subdivision, which is just west of Highway 14 in southwest Newton.  All lots on the subdivision’s east side remain undeveloped.  

The City is seeking offers on a .39 acre lot at 1111 West 22nd Street South and an associated outlot. Offers must include plans for construction of a new single family home that meets the requirements and Building Specifications for Lots 1-20 in Fountain Hills Estates Plat I and the recorded addendum. Offers need to be received at the Newton Community Development Department  Office at 303 West 4th Street North, Suite 501, in Newton  by 10:00 a.m. on January 8th.

The Newton City Council will hold a public hearing on the submitted offers during their January 20th regular council meeting.
