Today is the final day for Indianola City Manager Ben Reeves, as he departs to work as the City Administrator for Eagle Mountain, Utah. Reeves tells KNIA News what he is most proud of during his time here was helping to facilitate all the different groups including the city council, Simpson College, the downtown businesses, and more all work together better and going in the same direction.
“We’ve seen great things happen. The square is completed, the sewer treatment plant is completed, the Hillcrest Project, the South K Street Project. We have a Main Street Iowa designation, the facade programs in the downtown, so many good things. But if there is anything I’m proud of the most, it’s the building of the relationship between us and our partners. Simpson, the National Balloon Classic, IMU, Warren County and the county land exchange, all of those things. We are working to break the walls and the barriers down to make our community great long term.”
