The Knoxville Public Library will hold a gingerbread house decorating event today.

This program will be from 10:30 am to noon for kids aged 3-18 and will be held at the library’s Weiler room. Knoxville Public Library Director Roslin Thompson encourages kids to come to this event, but to also keep reading over winter break.

“Just keep reading. Even if it is just for a few minutes each day. It keeps your mind sharp and it is a great family activity as well.”

The gingerbread house event is free and open to anyone.
