Through their first nine games of the young season, the Pella Christian girls basketball team has four girls among the top five of several statistical categories in the Little Hawkeye Conference.

Sophomore Rachel Kacmarynski finds herself on the leaderboards of five different stats in the league, ranking second in four of them and third in the other. The sophomore is second in total rebounds (9.3), offensive rebounds (3.4), defensive rebounds (5.9), and steals per game (3.2), while also ranking third in the LHC in blocks per game (0.9). Fellow sophomore Chloe Snyder is fourth in the conference in free throw percentage (78.6%) and tied for fourth in three-pointers made per game (2.3). Faith Kacmarynski, the Eagles lone senior, is second in the league in assists per game (5), and junior Ava Breems is fourth in the Little Hawkeye in field goal percentage (57.1%).

As a team, Pella Chrsitian is second in blocked shots per game (2.6) and tied for third in three-pointers made per game (4.6). The Eagles also rank third in the conference in four stat categories, including assists per game (13.3), three-point percentage (25%), effective field goal percentage (41.2%), and defensive rebounds per game (21.3).

At the break, Pella Christian holds a 4-5 overall record and a 0-2 record in the conference. The Eagles return to the court on Tuesday, January 7th for a road Little Hawkeye Conference doubleheader at Newton.
