Indianola Schools Superintendent Tara Paul joined the district over the summer, joining in the middle of multiple facilities projects including the new transportation building and the beginning of the Indianola High School project. Paul tells KNIA News a big priority for her over the next year is bringing awareness and recognition to those who may not normally receive it.

“The biggest thing I want to accomplish is valuing all of the staff that we have, as well as the students and community. Bringing value back to the work that we do on a day-in and day-out basis. Sometimes that becomes very mundane, but often it is right in front of your face. To see the impact and to recognize, and to have our staff recognize the impact that they have every day with the students.”
