The PCM girls basketball team sits on top of the Heart of Iowa Conference after the first month of the season. 

The #10 Mustang girls are a perfect 5-0 in conference play and 8-1 overall with their only loss this season coming to #2 ranked North Mahaska. PCM has been dominant defensively so far during this 2024-2025 season. The Mustangs are only giving up 32.2 points per game on average this year and hold a 19 point differential. PCM has only given up over 50 points once this season and it was in their only loss which came to North Mahaska. The Mustangs have held opponents to under 30 points on four different occasions and the team is averaging 13.5 steals per game and 31 rebounds. On offensive, Tori Lindsay and Libby Winters are both averaging over 12 points a game while Addison Steenhoek is averaging nine. 

The PCM girls basketball team will be back in action on Friday against South Hamilton.
