The Indianola boys and girls basketball teams start the new year in a new venue, matching up with the Rams of Southeast Polk at Wells Fargo Arena. The Indians girls come in having faced the #2 in class 4A North Polk Comets and #3 in class 4A Norwalk Warriors to end the 2024 portion of their schedule, and will now have to match up with the #14 in class 5A Rams. The Indians boys ended 2024 on a two-game winning streak, and will play a Rams team that is 2-5 but has played one of the toughest schedules in the state so far. The games will be broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner and Rick Wilson on the call. Pregame coverage is at 4pm, with tipoff of the doubleheader at 4:15pm.
