The Knoxville Basketball Squads will come back from break encountering the toughest part of the schedule for both boys and girls. The Panther girls will play class 4A #10 Pella in the Red Rock Rivalry. Knoxville has struggled to score points this year with 43 as the high total. The boys are looking at tonight as a measuring stick game. For the most part, Knoxville has not been challenged in its first four games winning by an average margin of over 31 points per game. With tonight’s game against Pella and tomorrow against Newton this is also an opportunity for Knoxville to gain some resume building wins in the seeding procedure for the substate. Coach Joel Keady tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he is looking forward to what challenges his team in the next two games.
Keady: “It is very important as is all of our games, and these guys think they can compete with anyone in the state, and compare our strengths and weaknesses, and I’m excited to see how far we can go.”
Hear this call on both KNIA and KRLS. The Pella broadcast can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS at 5:45 with the Knoxville call on 95.3 KNIA beginning at 6:15.
