The PCM girls and boys basketball teams will host South Hamilton tonight in a Heart of Iowa Conference varsity doubleheader.

The #10 PCM girls are 8-1 overall this season and 5-0 in conference play. In their last contest before break the Mustangs defeated Nevada 60-23. The Hawks are 2-5 on the season and are coming off a 60-18 loss to West Marshall in their last game. PCM has been led in scoring this season by freshman Libby Winters who is averaging 12.8 points per game. The Mustang girls only loss of the season came against North Mahaska. 

The PCM boys 3-4 overall this season and are coming off a 64-42 loss to Nevada before break. The Mustangs will now take on a Hawks team that is 0-7 this season and fell to West Marshall 46-29 in their last contest. The Mustang boys have been led in scoring this season by senior Gavin Van Gorp who is averaging 11 points per game. Tonight’s girls game starts at 6:00 pm with the boys game to follow.
