Both Melcher-Dallas Basketball Squads will embark on a busy week this week starting Monday with a make up night against Moulton-Udell. The game was iced out on December 13th and will be played Monday as the Saints will host the Eagles. Girls Coach Kelsey Goff tells KNIA Sports, managing this week of games will be a challenge.

Goff: “Just take each game one at a time; It’s be night to get that Moulton game under our belt and get to the ACA game which they’re the only other undefeated team in the conference, and I’m glad we have them at home so we don’t have to travel up there.”

The Saints and Ankeny Christian are the only two teams that are still unbeaten in the Bluegrass Conference and winning that game could go a long way to giving the Saints the top seed in the conference tournament. The boys hope to get their first win of the season against a team that has to beat a team from Iowa. The Eagles lone win was against East Harrison out of Missouri. Tip off is set for 6:00 on Monday at Melcher-Dallas.
