Pella Regional Health Center is welcoming board-certified Gynecologist Trupti Mehta to the medical staff on January 23rd.

Dr. Mehta has 30 years of experience specializing in her field, and has practiced for most of her career in Dubuque. She will provide care for females of any age for annual well-woman exams, menstrual issues, STDs, birth control counseling and prescribing, treatment of premenstrual syndrome, menopause, treatment of disease in the reproductive tract, endometriosis treatment, urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and uterine fibroids. Dr. Mehta has a special interest in the evaluation and diagnosis of infertility problems and treatment including injectable as well as intrauterine insemination. She performs pelvic surgeries including minimally invasive robotic surgeries, laparoscopy, abdominal and vaginal techniques.

Dr. Mehta completed her Doctor of Medicine degree, Obstetrics and Gynecology residency and internship at the New Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat in India. She also completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at St. Paul-Ramsey Medical Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. She completed a research fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
