Indianola High School teacher Aaron Lester has been named Educator of the Year by the Indianola Chamber of Commerce.

The Educator of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding educator who has demonstrated exceptional commitment, innovation, and contributions to the field of education, positively impacting students, colleagues, and the community.

The award will be presented at the Chamber of Commerce Annual Celebration later this month. Other awards that will be presented include Distinguished Chamber Leader, Emerging Business, and the Steven G. Pfeiffer Volunteer of the Year Award.
