The PCM girls and boys basketball teams fell on the road to Roland-Story Tuesday night in a Heart of Iowa Conference varsity doubleheader.
The #10 Mustang girls fell to the #5 ranked Norseman in their second loss of the season. PCM trailed the entire game and dropped the contest 54-42. Freshman Libby Winters led the Mustangs in scoring with 21 points. The PCM girls fall to 9-2 overall.
The boys team lost to the Norseman 55-44. PCM led 12-9 at the end of the first quarter but the Mustangs were outscored 24-8 in quarter two and were not able to recover after that. PCM was led in scoring by Cutler VandeLune who had 12 points. The Mustang boys fall to 4-5 overall. Both the boys and girls teams will be back in action on Thursday at Montezuma.
