Pella Regional Health Center has announced that Certified Medical Assistant Mallory Hartgers in the Pella Medical Clinic is the recipient of their quarterly ROSE Award. Mallory was nominated by a patient for her high-performance standards and compassionate care. The ROSE Award is a rewards program for Patient Care Technicians. ROSE is an acronym for Recognition Of Service Excellence. Recipients of the ROSE award demonstrate excellence through their compassionate care, outstanding communication skills, and clinical expertise.

Excerpt from Mallory’s nomination by Hayley Van Hal:

“Mallory always makes myself and my daughters feel welcomed when we have a doctor’s visit.  She is always very willing to answer our questions or find the answers when she doesn’t know.  When I send questions through the portal, she is always quick to respond and follow up on items of concern.  She works well with Dr. Van Zee, and we never have to wait long in the waiting room or in the exam room.  I can tell that Mallory genuinely cares for our well-being.  Mallory is a huge asset to Pella Regional.”
