The PCM girls and boys basketball teams will travel to Montezuma tonight for a non-conference varsity doubleheader.
The #10 ranked girls are 9-2 this season and are coming off a loss on Tuesday night when they fell to Roland-Story 54-42 in their first conference loss of the season. The #7 ranked Montezuma girls are 6-3 overall and are coming off a lopsided win over Keota on January 3rd. The PCM girls have been led in scoring this season by freshman Libby Winters who is averaging 13.4 points per game.
The Mustang boys are 4-5 this season and fell to Roland-Story 55-44 on Tuesday. The Montezuma boys are 7-1 overall this season and beat Centerville 78-67 on Tuesday night. The PCM boys are led in scoring by Gavin Van Gorp. Tonight’s girls game at Montezuma starts at 6:00 pm with the boys game to follow.
