The Pella High School Robotics team finished with 5 wins and 1 loss this past weekend at the Central Iowa Robotics tournament.
The Bionic Dutch scored 241 points in match number three, which is the highest score of the year in the league and the 3rd highest in the state of Iowa.
Pella High School will host the Des Moines Metro FTC Robotics Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 11, from 1:00 – 3:30 PM in the high school gym. Twenty-four teams will compete in the internationally recognized FIRST Tech Challenge robotics competition.
The robotics teams represent the towns of Pella, Norwalk, Oskaloosa, West Des Moines, Johnston, Indianola, Urbandale, Des Moines, Waukee, Newton, and Prairie City Monroe. Admission is free.
