A Pella High School student earned high marks at a recent national livestock show.

Sarabeth Decious, daughter of Peter and Kelly Decious, exhibited the Reserve Grand Champion Wether Dam Doe at the 2024 Arizona National Livestock Show in Phoenix, Arizona on December 31st. Sarabeth is a junior at Pella High School and participates in Wrestling Cheer and FFA.

Decious says, “You never expect the wins like this. The path to success is so challenging physically and mentally it’s hard to even imagine it, but my show family encouraged me through all the trials to push and see it through. Like my coach Jake P said “fall 7 times, get back up 8.” I am counting my blessings big and small and praising God through it all.”
