The Pleasantville girls and boys basketball teams defeated Interstate 35 at home Friday night in a West Central Conference varsity doubleheader as Joelle Johnson broke the school record for points in a game.

The Trojan girls defeated the Roadrunners 57-23 powered by Johnson historic night as she scored 40 points which broke the previous school record held by her which she broke last season. Johnson also broke the school record Friday night for most three pointers in a game with seven. The Pleasantville girls basketball team improves to 9-3 overall and 4-1 in league play. 

The boys team dominated Interstate 35 80-42. The Trojan boys continue seeing impressive offensive production from sophomore Braylon Bingham who had 33 points in the contest. Lukas Klootwyk was the second leading scorer with 15. The Pleasantville boys improve to 5-4 overall and 3-3 in the conference. Both the girls and boys teams will be back in action on Tuesday at Earlham.
