The Indianola City Council gave direction to city staff regarding the process of Vision 2030 at their meeting last week, the future plans for City of Indianola facilities. Interim City Manager Wade Wagoner tells KNIA News in order for the project to move forward, city staff needed to know what priorities to focus on when the city is in need in multiple areas including emergency personnel, city staff, public works, and more.

“I took the direction that a plurality of the council said that our top priority should be taking care of public safety, which is our police and fire departments. We are going to have additional retreats, where we will have Vision 2030 on its own night, when it’s the only thing on the agenda, and we can get further direction.”
