The Marion County Conservation Department and the Knoxville Public Library are partnering to put on a Wild World of Mammals event today.
This event will be at 10:30 am at the library and will be an educational adventure into the world of mammals, which kids can enjoy on their day off of school. This interactive library program is designed for kids Kindergarten-5th grade and kids can listen to a story about mammals and their hair and Public Library Director Roslin Thompson says the kids will get to feel many textures.
“She’ll bring a lot of different samples. There are samples of fur, antlers, and bone for the kids to touch and interact with. It’s a really special story time and we look forward to having people come to that.”
