The Pella Public Library will host local author Carol Van Klompenburg on Monday, January 20th at 2:00 pm for an author visit titled, Just Desserts: The Good, The Bad, and the Funny. 

The program will include readings from Carol’s new book, The World in a Grain of Sand: Lively Little Stories of Household Stuff, and her previous books. As part of the event, attendees are invited to bring a possession of their own to display on a table and to share their story about the item informally during refreshments. Copies of Carol’s book will be available for purchase and signing after the presentation. Attendees can also enter to win a copy of Van Klompenburg’s new book as well. The event will take place in the library’s meeting room and is free and open to the public.
