The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.

This will be the board’s first regular session meeting of 2025 after the annual organizational meeting was held on January 2nd. The board will discuss an agreement for lobbying services, hear the county treasurer’s semi-annual report, discuss a public health mental health advocate position and the emergency management departments’ inclement weather policy. 

The board will then hold public hearings regarding vacating all or part of a certain road right of way, discuss a letter of support for a Highway T15 grant project, hear a road department update, and the meeting will conclude with discussion of the county employee handbook, and a county building space study. Today’s meeting will be held at 9:00 am at 3014 E Main St. in Knoxville.
