The Melcher-Dallas Basketball Squads will take on Lamoni tonight. The girls have won their last three including a 23 point win over Colo-NESCO on Saturday. Coach Kelsey Goff tells KNIA Sports while she is not scoring a lot this season, Kianna Jackson has contributed on the defensive end, helping the Saints keep the opponents score low.

Goff: “Her leadership and seniority. You can see her defense and her presence on the court and to get through the hype and everything going to get that win down there was huge.”

The boys are looking for their first win. The Saints have lost their last three games by nearly 50 points per game. Lamoni has just one win, a 51-12 victory over Diagonal earlier in the season. The girls game is set to begin at 6:00.
