
Kaelyn Tally won two events, Evalyn Resnick and Liz Sisler both broke the school record on bars, and the Simpson College women’s gymnastics team began year two with a runner-up finish at their home triangular.
Winona State claimed the top spot with a team score of 187.275, while the Storm placed second with a 185.575, the team’s best season-opening performance to date. Greenville rounded out the meet with a 185.025.
Tally claimed first place on vault and floor, and Olivia Hedary won beam to give Simpson three individual titles. Greenville’s Ashlie Leage narrowly edged Evalyn Resnick for the uneven bars title, and Amara Nelson of Greenville secured the all-around crown.
