A major issue on the campaign trail this fall for Iowa Legislature House and Senate seats was property tax reform, which is expected to be discussed during the ongoing session. State Representative Brooke Boden tells KNIA News oftentimes it was the only issue constituents brought up.

“That’s something that we will be entertaining and discussing as a caucus. Working with our city officials and talking with our county officials and constituents on what that would look like. Working towards a goal of creating some security when it comes to our property taxes.”
