The Knoxville School Board approved a Daktronics extended service agreement for Randy Wilson Track at their meeting on Monday.
This is an extended service agreement for the Daktronics equipment utilized at the facility including the timers, video display, scoreboard, sound system, and control console. School Business Manager Craig Mobley says this is an extension of the warranty they had in place to make sure everything continues to operate smoothly.
“With this new scoreboard, new video board, new play clocks, new sound system, everything out there with the initial purchase we got the one year warranty so we just asked the board to approve an extended warranty for that equipment to make sure it’s in good working order. In case there is a hiccup in any of the equipment we have an agreement in place with Daktronics who sold us the equipment they will come out and get that fixed as quickly as possible.”
Students at the high school are currently working on constructing a metal archway for the facility and building a new ticket booth.
