Gary Lavern Willoughby, 70, passed away on January 17, 2025, in Des Moines, Iowa. The
family will greet guests from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Pierschbacher
Funeral Home in Chariton, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday,
January 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Gary will be interred in Dallas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church in Chariton, the Melcher-Dallas Fire Department, or Melcher-Dallas Little League.
