The Pleasantville boys wrestling team placed second as a team at the West Central Conference Tournament Saturday hosted by Interstate 35 as Zane Mullenix and Blake Rowson had first place finishes as Rowson entered the 100 win club.
The Trojans finished second as a team with 160 points finishing just a point and a half behind Woodward-Granger who placed first. At the tournament Rowson placed first at 138 pounds while Mullenix took first at 157. Other top finishers for the Trojans were Tommy Booth who took second at 120 pounds and Nathainal Oliver and Paul Gasparovich who both took third. Another highlight of the day was junior Blake Rowson who entered the 100 win club for the Trojans. Senior Tommy Booth also achieved this honor earlier in the season.
The Pleasantville boys wrestling team will be back in action on Thursday at Central Decatur.
