A special experience with unique classes, internships, and trips far away from home has wrapped up on Eagle Lane. The 13th annual Winterim at Pella Christian wrapped up on Friday, January 10th, with regular classes beginning last Monday.
Fifty-eight businesses welcomed Pella Christian students for internships from January 6th-10th, three groups went on trips to Spain, Mexico and Abaco in the Bahamas, and twenty-eight classes about a variety of subjects were held for students on campus. Senior Alyson De Bruin, who went on the trip to Abaco, said it was fun to meet the people in the Bahamas and to enjoy a great experience with her classmates.
“Everyone there is just very friendly and very grateful for what they have. And it’s just a really good experience to put yourself out there and get to know some new people, get to know some of the people that maybe you don’t know that went on the trip with you, and experience some new stuff and a new culture. It was just a lot of fun.”
