Horns Ferry Bridge is providing citizens of Marion County and visitors an opportunity for bald eagle watching.
According to Marion County Conservation, winter is one of the best times of year to watch bald eagles and the Horns Ferry Bridge area provides an area to watch them soar, fish, and roost in trees. Bald eagles have a wingspan of 6-8 feet, and they lay 1-3 eggs per year which hatch roughly 35 days later. Horns Ferry Bridge is near Howell Station off of Highway T15 between Knoxville and Pella.
