The Indianola boys and girls basketball teams will try to climb in the conference standings after the first round robin of conference play is complete, with both teams sitting at 3-3. The Indians girls have a tough road, they defeated Newton, Oskaloosa, and Pella Christian while falling to ranked Dallas Center-Grimes, Norwalk, and Pella, but saw the loss to the Dutch only by one point.

The Indians boys have a similar path, they fell to both Newton and Pella in overtime and Dallas Center-Grimes on the road but took down Oskaloosa, Pella Christian, and Norwalk, falling to Pella on a buzzer-beater and shooting just 6/25 from long range against the Cardinals.

Both teams get back in action Friday on the road at Newton.
