The Knoxville City Council heard a budget presentation for the public works department Monday night. 

This was the first of several budget presentations over the next few meetings that will be heard by the council as the city starts to finalize their upcoming fiscal year budget. Public Works Department heads Eric Caviness and Pat Murphy were in attendance to discuss upcoming projects and answer questions. Also at the meeting the council held a public hearing and approved rezoning of five city properties and a street improvements project change order.
