The Pleasantville girls and boys varsity basketball teams fell to Des Moines Christian Friday night in a West Central Conference varsity doubleheader.

The Trojan girls fell in their contest 71-23 to fall to 9-7 on the season. Pleasantville was led in scoring by Joelle Johnson who had 11 points. The Trojan boys dropped their contest 53-17 to fall to 6-7 on the season. The Trojans were led in scoring by Braylon Bingham who had 23 points. The Pleasantville girls and boys basketball teams will be back in action on Monday against Van Meter.
